The “Thick Flat Tape” Advantage

Unlike round string floss, this is a broad, flat ribbon.

• Why it matters: The wider surface area acts like a squeegee against the side of your tooth. It sweeps away more plaque in a single pass than thin string, which often just rolls over it.

• Strength: It is exceptionally strong and shred‑resistant. If you have tight contacts (teeth that are close together) that usually shred other floss, this nylon tape is tough enough to handle them.
